❤️Somehow, this compilation manages to be even more impressive than the first. A great introduction to dark ambient for the uninitiated, and a must-have for longtime fans. Plushie Fanatic
Simplistically eerie sounds are the primary genetic makeup of this mostly unknown, to me, act that has now come to be represented by the highly acclaimed Malignant label. Sparse, yet harsh, bewildering and yet somehow soothing, oppressive and yet it never completely overwhelms the listener in a manner of needing to escape its grasp. Verily, this act and album succeeds in transporting the listener back to a more golden era of lo-fi power electronics and noise. Wonderful and macabre stuff, this. Cody Drasser

The aptly-named Hauntings write songs that are sinister and moody—the seconds in a horror film right before the jump scare. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 3, 2023
In the music of Paul Jordan, digitally manipulated field recordings become striking electronic songs that feel eerie and surreal. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 7, 2020
Subdued yet commanding with a well-honed sound palette comprised of pressurized atmospherics, massive undercurrents of bass, sparse martial rhythms, and a combination of glacial and grinding synth work. I've been fascinated with the music of Torus Dome for the last year. It took me a little while to fully appreciate the magnitude of these dooming meditations. Lost Tribe Sound
